Most of you who visit this blog probably already know who Scott and I are, but, there maybe some people who stop by from time to time who don't. Scott grew up in Rawlins, Wyoming where his Dad was the manager for the Stone Ranch. He currently is a board operation at the Sinclair Refinery. I was raised in Casper, Wyoming and moved to Rawlins in the summer of 2011 for a job as a rangeland management specialist for the Bureau of Land Management. Scott and I met in the spring of 2012.
We were introduced by his sister, who was working with me at the BLM, at an outdoor music concert here in Rawlins. From there on we were always hanging out, exploring the ranch he grew up on and even taking a few trips together that first summer. The first trip we too was small, just to Denver for the weekend. By the end of the summer we took a trip to Iceland! It was a rather spur of the moment trip but I knew from then on that we would be traveling together for a long time and going on many epic adventures. Fast forward to January of 2013. Scott proposed in the comfort of our home and we are now planning on having a wedding ceremony in the same country we took our first overseas adventure to, Iceland!!!
We will be having a long engagement to save for yet another grand adventure. The wedding date has been set for September 24, 2014 on the beach of Jokulsarlon, the Glacier Lagoon in Iceland. We were both in awe of the beauty of Iceland. In addition to a wedding ceremony in Iceland we will becoming back to Rawlins for a huge celebration and wedding reception for all of our friends and family!
We are so excited to be planning the best adventure of all and are excited to share it with all of you and so excited to be going back to Iceland!
